Shadow Mania Plus (v2.0 Update) ✪ Full Game Playthrough (1080p/60fps)

Shadow Mania Plus (aka. One More Shadow) is a Character Modification created by sinnombre.
This mod continues the old Shadow Mania Revamped project. The continuation is based on multiple old and current versions of Shadow such as Sonic 3 & Knuckles, the version of Hortinus, and the current version of Megamix.
This project takes ideas from some sprites of the previously mentioned Shadow versions and adapting them to the Shadow of this project, making it clear that not all the sprites are from the project, but some are from AsuharaMoon and Megamix.

Shadow Mania Plus is back now with a new update, which adds more sprites to the character, now at about 95% for progress on the mod. Keep in mind only a couple of sprites haven't been finished (one of those being the cutscene at the start of Chemical Plant), but the next update will not only be 100% complete, but will also be potentially replacing Ray in the process (curious myself on how that might turn out).

Wow. The modders have really done a great job at capturing not only the graphic style of mania, but also the deminor and expressions of shadow. The only complaint I have is the intro to chemical plant act 1 with Sonic's sprite appearing out of nowhere, but it must be really hard to change it, so nice job!🦔

Seeing as Mighty has the bounce, Knuckles and Ray have different glide abilities, Tails can hover/fly and Sonic has the dropdash. Shadow should have a homing attack to go with his teleporting chaos abilities.

I would argue this was the biggest Sonic title in the past decade. Mania gave us a new 'classic' title that condensed so much of what made the originals good. Its great seeing the addition of fully fleshed out character gameplay for those that weren't playable.

It would've taken a long time to change all the Sonic sprites on the tile map to look like Shadow. Especially at this quality. Because this ain't no lazy palette swap with. Each sprite frame has been expertly drawn over top of Sonic's. But changed to depict how Shadow would look doing it. This is great work well done. Because Shadow plays identical to Sonic I'm assuming this is what Sinnombre has done.

The 2.1 version replaces Ray instead of sonic. The 2.0 version was the finished version showcased in this video. The 2.0 download link was taken down and the only mod with the sonic replacement is an edited version changing shadow's super form into a "ultra ego"

Just the Shadow mod I believe. The Modern Sonic Boost mod should work fine since there is a link on the Shadow mod page. I think the Modern Sonic Boost mod should be below the Shadow mod, but if that doesn't work you can always try and put the Shadow mod below the Boost mod.

While the sprite work is great, even tho most of it isn't original to the project, he could use a custom moveset. Reskins are cool and all, but I'll just be waiting for Megamix Mania instead. The special stage model could use some slight walk bouncing. His model looks like cardboard when walking.
