Actually that's the ONE thing they did ok ... they have "dugout deals" you can get $5 beers, $3 ice cream, peanuts etc... and the $1 hot dogs on Tuesdays... even some of the good food in the new outfield 500 level is reasonably priced. Stadiums in the US are more expensive

Roster construction is the problem here. They filled it with players that “play the right way” instead of those who could simply hit but were like “too Latino” and “not serious” (remember that FO took away the home run jacket las year) however defined. Except baseball is not like hockey where “character” trumps the ability to hit a baseball. Getting on base is useless if no one can execute in a high leverage situation.
