Can't believe you saw a school of crappie dart away when you hooked one! Just another advantage of having the live scope.. With a flasher you probably would have stayed at that hole for a while after catching that fish, but since you could see the others dart away, you knew right away that it was time to move to a different hole. Super cool!

I would recommend having a contrasting head to jig body/lure. As an avid ice angler Crappies like the contrast.

Can somebody answer why guys put their giant bulky sonar and mount in the same hole they are jigging? It's livescope. You can put it in a hole less then a foot away and it will work the same

I catch crappies on bare hooks and minnows. If your at where there at then its easy. Finding them can be the problem its not the lure.

Hey Jay! Love the channel, have a question for you. When jigging for fish and you're enticing them up from the bottom, I know you want to bring them up as high as possible. But, when the fish is chasing your jig up, is there a point you stop and let the fish take it? Or do you want the fish to take it while it is moving on the way up?? Thanks!!
