I hit Lake Manitoba 4 yrs ago and it was an absolute blast plucking them out of just 5 to 7 feet of water! Was so confused on why we were fishing for 8 hours on Manitoba’s third largest lake without ever seeing another angler…just a few empty hardhouses scattered along the break. Definitely need to get back up that way! 😂 Btw love the bonus burbot and RIP snowmobile helmet.

Grew up on LMB people always sleep on it but if you don't than you know how awesome it is. Especially for recreation, so much nicer (and safer) than LWPG for spending the day out on the water with tons and tons of privacy. I didn't realize how special lake front property was until I moved away because everyone on LMB has it LOL!

Twin beaches! Noice! There is a stigma that once the nets are out the fishing dries up. Went early ice few years ago and hammered them. Went after nets were in and nothing for 2 trips. Any truth to that Jay?

Ha ha the most gear (non fishing) intensive form of personal fishing I've seen on utube. Would love to see this guy fishing for 1m Barramundi in Northern Australian, amongst those massive 5m Saltwater crocs, in 45 C heat and 100% humidity. Make it happen, bring ur mate and that meat eater guy and make a hunting and fishing vid, hunting massive buffalo, scrub bulls, batang and wild hogs ( with dogs).

What do you guys do with dull auger blades. Sharpen them or get new ones? I’ve got a strike master 8 inch hand auger and the blades are very dull.

If they’re the ones made in Sweden, sharpen them. Get a couple sets of blades and sharpen them in the off-season. If they’re knockoffs then toss them as they don’t sharpen well.
