I absolutely love the pike fishing content Jay! People around here say pike are annoying but I think they’re cool because they put up gnarly fights! 🔥

Man I love a big Pike. Most of the time I only fish for them. Lucky for me the state record was pulled outa the lake 5 minutes from my house just last year. Have yet to find one that big but I will eventually.

It’s been said by many commentators, but I’ve been watching your channel Jay for a long time, and I have to say this is the best video you have ever done. This deserves an academy award or Emmy. Fabulous filming and editing. Unreal action. Hands down number 1. I’ve had this type of pike action before as well in Northern Saskatchewan. It’s incredible to be part of. The stars align and the hogs gather in the shallows just begging to be caught. Thanks for the show. Absolutely incredible.

Lake trout is tougher to find, but when you hook into them, you are in for a fight as they as great size. Nice Video.

Just getting into the verge of spring. Been waiting for the fish to warm up so the fishing gets better. It's been a tough winter fishing in Australia. All I've managed is a handful of trout in some lakes in the snowy mountains and a couple of redfin perch (European perch. Basically a less yellow but bigger version of the yellow perch. However they are an invasive species in Australia)

Great video and location. Also good safety tips with the kill cord and life jacket, however wearing hip/chest waiters in the boat is one of the most dangerous things you can do. Once they fill up with water there is not a lifejacket out there that will keep you afloat. Keep up the great work!!
