Yeah me to, he def grows on you overtime lol, I can always tell SVB is like son of a bitch..every time he draws him I swear I can see it in his eyes lol, he knows darn well he's a difficult rival to overcome for whatever reason, these 2 are gonna have a blue ray or whatever the software will be by then come out 15 years down the road of all their matches against each other over the years I swear. But yeah can definitely tell Shane very much enjoys when he beats Shaw for dang sure. He's a heck of a player, Shaw is not only extremely good I swear he is one of the luckiest players I have ever seen as well, usually not today but on average I don't mean that as a discrediting statement at all I just mean he tends to get good rolls ya know but much of that is also skill to.

I personally think that when watching pool, if there's a player that we're rooting against, we seem to notice their luck ratio a lot more. Take Earl for example, he thinks everyone he plays gets more luck than him. I've had the tendency to root against Albin Ouschan (because of something he said or something he should have said), but when I've rooted against him, it seems that he's gotten extremely lucky. Although an actuality, I'm sure Albin doesn't get anymore lucky or unlucky than any other player. 😃

Jayson is one of the best shooters around but he has two big weaknesses that will always leave him vulnerable to the likes of SVB and Gorst: his break is no better than average; and his safety game is below average. He will need to improve both to be competitive again imho.

I gotta question, is it me, or does the camera work just suck ? Change the angle 3,4,5 times per shot, zoom in on the ball rollin on the table, etc, best players in the world, tryin to watch their full stance, stroke, follow through on shots, nope they cant doit, they ruin it hada vent, cant watch this format, gives me a headache ! Geatest players too

It's like that watching a live concert video too. Trying to watch a great guitar player do a solo and the camera, or the video editing, is jumping around all over the place. Seems like it's impossible for them to just hold one camera angle for longer than a half second. I think they do this because they are trying to make it look more exciting, but for viewers who are trying to see detail and nuance it is very frustrating.

Yeah, Earl still plays great but for whatever reason his break is almost nonexistent of late, the rest is solid. Anyway, he ain't gonna be getting #6 but Shane darn well potentially could! I'd be happy with Shane or Woodward winning.

Couldn't be further from the truth. Back then there wasn't as much international competition. Not even close. SVB also won a 3-peat US Open Championship (2012, 2013, & 2014) which Earl or nobody else, for that matter, has ever accomplished.
