I think what caused the character to turn into a zombie in the beginning was the fact that theres a lot of traits that reduce maximum health, since the devs didnt expect someone would put so many negative health traits on a survivor they likely didn’t think to set a minimum of one, so all those nevative health traits made their max health go into the negatives, instantly killing them when they spawn If you want to try this again but with the worst possible survivors you could remove all negative health traits, or just make sure they don’t reduce at or past 100

Who attacked an infestation in nightmare like an action hero, and a bloater phased through the wall, blew up by my truck and gis molotov somehow was bug enough to make the gas explode, exploding his truck and knocking him to almost no health. With no outpost nearby, he tried to get to echo labs to take it over, but died to 2 armored zeds right as he got there. Molotovs are deadly to zeds.... and yourself.

A tip for the guaranteed Trumbull Hardware Store Heart down the road from the spawn, the one you deal with at about 9:55 you can block the door and the window to the right with the starter car or anything larger, to completely stop the zombies from entering, making it another cheesable Heart in Trumbull :)

Man I loved the first game but #2 never really grabbed me, it felt like I was playing the same exact game again, just improved in a few ways and walked back in several, like 8-10 years later. I really want to enjoy it as zombie survival games are my favorite, especially one where you get to build your own base and manage a community, sounds awesome! But everything feels so clunky. Like they are making a game with okay-ish graphics painted over a ps2 engine, it worked fantastic as an xbox arcade game but I guess I just expected a larger increase in quality when xbox bought them out (and I was spending $60 instead of $20). Overall I'm not saying there is no fun to be had here, I played a good amount of the single player and got through a few regions but every time I moved I always asked "why tf am I leaving this perfect base, gear and super skilled survivors behind just to move a county over and start again? Aren't I supposed to keep building and improving my base in a zombie apocalypse, at least until I get forced out for some reason?" Just make the zombies steadily increase and become tougher, make ammo scarcer, make a large bandit gang that slowly starts taking over your allied settlements and is raiding your base regularly. And all those ideas are just off the top. The lack of any REAL reason to be leaving for the next map outside of that place being "done" really throws me out of the game and makes it feel like all that work was essentially for nothing. Everything considered though that's a fairly minor complaint and the gameplay loop is decently fun if not quite a bit repetitive, but that brings me to maybe one of the worst compilations of game design decisions I've ever seen. CO-OP. My god, what the hell were they thinking with this one. Why make a world only one person is in control of? Why set such small boundaries on how far we can venture from our team? Why make it so only half of containers are lootable to your character and NEVER contain anything of interest to anyone but the server/community leader? I would have loved if they made it where I take control of a friends community member and we are both contributing to the well being of OUR base, not HIS. With the current implementation it makes any coop players feel as though they are unwanted guests, not crucial members of the community. I apologize for my rant but damn this has been pissing me off for a long time. Here's to hoping they don't make so many damning game decisions in the SoD3. anyone who would like to have a discussion about it all refutes are welcome :) TLDR: Me bitching about a 6 year old game XD
