We’ll just had my first run at the BMX track today and all I can say is WOW!!!! Truly impressed with how this performed today. Ran with 15 tooth pinion on 3s. No issues at all!! 👊👊👍👍

Did you leave the 17 tooth pinion on it or did you change it to the 15 like they say in the manual? I have only ever run mine on 2s and don't intend on putting a 3s in it. Does fine for what I use it for.

Know that I've had one of these before and put bigger tires on it. I just didn't like it too much with it on there. I'll keep it as it is but I've seen other people's videos as well

They're 12mm hex. I got Pro-line wheels with K02 tires they're a little taller a few mm wider. Handles much better and a Savox servo

Check out kitris extreme rc and rc guy garage both run the pro with big tires now. Got kick out seeing it do a slap wheelie....the things a beast with bigger tires...as far as track stock tires give them a try on the track you may be impressed

Yeah I've seen several guys put bigger tires on and not a big fan of that even when I have the previous version. I'll do some research and figure a couple things out

@@JayTeeRC There was a link to another KZbin video and to the hobao web site with some recommended hexes. Rc Guy Garage shows some 12mm hobao hexes perfect to tun traxxas rustler wheels on the tenacity dB Pro.

@@JayTeeRC No problem. Of course I wouldn't use cuss words, especially as you have some children orientated areas on your channel but the links were genuine. To make it easier I've grabbed the part number for the hobao hexes - 22130 but I'm sure you're going to have a few options to try from your parts box.

They're 12mm and they are thin as far as thickness

They're 12mm hexes on the Tenacity DB Pro and they're not wide enough to keep other wheels far enough out on the axle to stop them contacting the hub on the car and binding. Fitting wider hexes helps to be able to fit other makes of wheel.

@@pipnmaz Not 100% true. I'm running Proline Badlands MX2.8 using the included 12mm large offset adapters and I get 0 binding whatsoever. Been bashing for about 5 packs so far and no issues 👍

I run Louise / Duratrax 2.8" on mine with stock hexes. No issues at all. Get 0 offset
