This particular performance is at the NZ nationals..... they were a guest performance in this one, not competitors..... but yes they are a NZ dance crew... the royal family is the combined super group made up of dancers from multiple crews within Paris Goebels academy of dancers, can't remember what the academy is called... the palace?.... However their performance at WOD 2015 was OFF THE GRID.....

To put it simply. They are called Royal FAMILY cos they are made up of smaller dance groups from New Zealand. Who have trained under the Palace Studio. They are world champions, and so they get invited to make appearances at different dance competitions, even ones they arent competing in. They are amazing.

New Zealand is a diverse county we got a lot of islanders, asians, Europeans, South Africans and what not. So the group is filled with Polynesians, maoris, Europeans, and people who come from around the world to join the dance crew “royal family”. Parris Goebel worked for Justin Bieber “love yourself” dance videos, you’re probably familiar with “sorry” Parris choreographed it herself. Um also the group is mostly underage 17 being their dominant age, there are a few adults but most of them are teenagers.
