Just beat the game and there are a few scripted gang attacks on you as well as cops fighting gangs, etc. It does exist it just isn't as much as it could be. Also multiple of the PD missions have people attacking each other etc.

@@JoshuaOverman I was one of the OG fans of 3 and played it pretty close to launch, I honestly enjoyed 6 more than I did 3. I have beaten 3 5 and 6 (6 a few times, almost beat 4 but just never got around to it when I was younger) and I think most of it has to do with the setting and atmosphere, 6 kills the setting and it's gorgeous to drive around in between bouts of slaughtering enemies. One of the main drawbacks of 6 is that it's much longer than the other games while still having the same far cry formula so it gets repetitive if you play back to back long sessions of it.

But I like 6 as well, it sure is a bit rehashy, but it’s fun and that’s what counts. 4 had the same problem of feeling like a rehash of 3 when it came out. But when I played that with more distance to 3, I liked that as well.

Number 2 was great....not sure how it would hold up now but it's much more brutal. No fast travel except like 4 different points on the map, the map is an actual map you pull up in game, it's not a menu map. U can pull it out while running or driving and look down at it when you need too. Guns are conditioned, poor one's will jam or outright not shoot unless you take care of them. It takes a certain person or mood to enjoy it.

The reason there was so little of the president character is Giancarlo Esposito's fame from Breaking Bad made him much more expensive to use for the game. Too many big budget games spend money on Hollywood actors that do not come cheap. Kojima spent a ton of money on Hollywood people for Death Stranding and Chris Roberts spent a huge chunk of Star Citizen's money on hiring Hollywood voice over actors before there was even an alpha of the game... Need to focus on making good games and worry about actors afterward.

I played it on xbox one on default setting when it came out and kinda rushed through cause it felt the same. Im playing it now on my ps5 on hard with no health bars or enemy outlines. The graphics and sound is amazing and with the ps5 controller the shooting and driving is perfect. The upgrades and amount of weapons, vehicles, and armor sets are crazy. Play it again on ps5 but change your settings. No regrats

This killed the series for me. As soon as you discover that enemies respawn within a ridiculously short radius and time (like right behind you after you just killed them) you realise it's unplayable. Hundreds of players including myself took to the Unisoft forums to report it, evidence it with videos etc. Unisoft ignored it completely and said the dev team feel the systems in the game are working as intended. Disgusting.

I was listening to this in the background and the entire time I was thinking "Ah yes, his favorite stealth game." Part of me still wants to play this at some point but when it's DEEPLY discounted. Wouldn't be a shock that my favorite Far Cry games are Blood Dragon and New Dawn. I love when games go off the deep end and this one always looked like a bit of that without truly committing. I also understand why so many people don't like that because it's a hard departure from what the games used to be, I just don't have that connection. Blood Dragon was the first Far Cry I ever played so for me, that's what I like.

Not ashamed to say this... I love this game. I got it day 1 and enjoyed every minute. The map was so big and stunning. I loved exploring. The treasure hunts especially was a blast. The city section of the map was also really well done and the giant outpost/fort is the best outpost in the whole Far Cry franchise. The gunplay feels so good and I enjoyed the weapon customization for the most part. I didnt really care for the different damage types and the number pumping. I feel that they went just a bit too far with the RPG elements they added. And yes Anton Castillo was criminally under utilized as a villain.

I understand it but im so sick of hearing the "it doesnt change the formula" argument when it comes to new games in any series. People are coming back because they like the experience not because they want it all to change. Personally I’d recommend 6 over 5 for a better overall sandbox and weapon feel. Weapons are customizable in an actually impacting way. And the map is a lot more fun to explore than 5. But both a great games. But when I go back to play far cry I play 6.

Far cry 6 was just boring for me, not bad, just boring. I 100 percented the first island because i wanted usala really bad, and just wanted to see that number to hit 100, but after i got to the main islands besides the few treasure quests that i did, i didnt feel like continuing, it felt like work liberating in the same ways for so many more hours was just not something i could do. Even though primal is essentially the same thing, i could never get bored of just roaming around beating cavemen up with a club!
