Take That were HUGE in the UK in the 90s, there was even a support phone line set up for the fans when they split up! They then reformed in the mid-2000s and were huge again. I think the story was that they were offered the opportunity to try and crack the US, but when they heard how big it was and how long they would be away from home, they were just like “nah, we’re good” lol! Some of their earlier songs to check out are Pray, Everything Changes, A Million Love Songs and Never Forget. For the later songs, my favourites are Patience, Shine, Greatest Day and Said It All (which is probably the least famous of those, but my personal favourite!).

Take That are pretty special in that they were HUGE in the 90's and then split up ... but then got back together more than a decade later and had even more MASSIVE hits. If anything, they were bigger in recent years than in the 90's. Like others said, so much back catalog to explore. 90s era: Never Forget, Relight my Fire, Pray, Everything Changes, A Million Love Songs. Post Break-Up/Reunion: Greatest Day, Rule the World, Shine, The Flood, Patience.

They had a massive amount of hits nearly all written and arranged by Gary Barlow the lead here. One that blew me away at the time was their cover of Barry Manilows Could It Be Magic mainly because the original song is really slow and based on a piano concerto by Chopin. Gary turn it on its head and made a dance track which Barry himself loved.

So glad you've reacted to TT! I did comment on the bands that didn't crack the US about them so I won't really repeat myself. This did make the top 10 in the US and I think there was an American version of the album it was from. The other song that should've brought them attention in the US in more recent times was Rule The World it was on the Stardust soundtrack and did go in the running for an Oscar but wasn't shortlisted which is madness cos its 1 of the best songs they ever did I think they were robbed of that nomination! Def listen to that song and Patience and The Flood. They took over the New Kids popularity over in the UK and are probably the biggest boy band the UK have ever had they're huge over here.

Or Nsync or other boybands from the 90's on...there was New kids and they were really big in the late 80's early 90's and they still are around today. But I'd recommend you start with something from their early days You Got It (The Right Stuff) is from their 2nd album Hangin' Tough. I mentioned Take That on one of your previous reaction videos. So pleased you finally listened to them... You will go down a deep rabbit hole should you cover more of their tracks. For me personally I wasn't into them when they first came out... I think this track was their last one before they split.... but when they reformed, their music was hugely impressive... tracks like Patience, Greatest Day, Rule The World, Flood, Said It All... awesome stuff!!!

Howard Donald (Take That) said a few years ago, that he's the reason why they weren't known in America. Record producers from New York flew in for a meeting with them. They went through a long list of promotional tours, radio, chat shows, Vegas etc - and Howard said "I can't be as$ed" So, they didn't go.

Take that probably have around a dozen great songs. I am not a huge boy band fan, but I have admit I liked their music (from day one). I would suggest your next Take That reaction should be “Never Forget”. “Babe” is also a very nice song by them. ✌️ EDIT. I should have mentioned That while Gary sings lead vocals on “Back For Good”, it is Howard taking lead vocals on “Never Forget” , and Mark (lead vocals) on “Babe”. This (for me) is clear evidence (if it were needed) of their outstanding talent.

I am now a 51 year old menopausal woman……but by Christ, what I would do to have an hour alone in a room with Gary Barlow! 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉 Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧
