OKC’s young core was unexpected to lead their way to the playoffs. Last year they were 10th, and now youngest team to win a series and a top seed clinch thanks to their COTY Mark Daigneult. SGA become an MVP runner-up, while Chet also became a ROTY candidate. Hopefully this young thunder squad can keep their momentum in the upcoming seasons.

I'm really looking forward to the future growth of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, and the Thunder they belong to. Shai is such a an amazing player and his defense is incredible for his size. He's unguardable and only seems to be improving. Been an OKC fan for about 13 years-when Shai joined our team from the Clips, within a couple games I low-key knew this guy was gonna be the star of the team the next season although CP3 and Steven Adams were still on. They are so young so as a thunder fan I can only hope.

I first got into basketball in 2017, I liked the thunder for the name and players like KD and Russ but didn't start 'watching' untill 2019, I remember being so pissed that broadcasts would almost never show okc games cause I didn't know what market sizes meant I just thought they'd be showing every single game, every day and on all the big broadcasters LOL. But u know, knowledge grew, love for the game grew and it feels so awesome to have watched a team go through the enterity of a rebuild. SGA, JayDub and Chet are already some of my favourite players I've had the previledge of watching and Josh Giddey excited me for a time as I'm from Australia and he was Australia's next great hope, my respect for him has dwindled after the off the court stuff and his wildly innconsistent play on the court. But man I love this team and love these guys, we'll definately be back and a championship is coming very very soon THUNDER UP!!!!!!!!! 🌩

They never should've traded away Lively, he was literally the one that killed them in the second round due to their lack of rebounders. Although OKC was great at drafting, they have been terrible when it came to drafting and trading away big in the SGA era from Adams to Sengun to Lively, if I were the GM or whatever next draft I'll get a rebounder or enforcer

Sam Presti the best GM in basketball he acquired plenty of draft picks and surrounded that talent with SGA it has worked out well. and year 1 CP3 defied the odds he led this young thunder team to a G7 against a top contender and look where they are at now. they made the playoffs as the top seed and made their run but lost to NO still a bright future in OKC.
