Duncan was great and absolutely deserved his ‘03 win but that 2002 MVP should’ve gone to Kidd
@jaywarvzКүн бұрын
Well arguably. If we consider how Kidd made Nets title contenders
@henny656615 сағат бұрын
2003 should have actually gone to Kobe. He had a monster year with averages 30/7/6 that year. One of many robberies of Kobe for MVP.

Nets had the star power. The problem is they had nothing on the bench & lacked all around at the C position. They reminded me a little of the 2010-2011 Miami Heat where they had the Big 3, but was god awful basically everywhere else
@fleetdagrim25943 күн бұрын
Agreed! Other than Kidd, RJ, & KMart then Vince they had no depth & C spot was a 7ft cone in Collins as a starter & 6'7 Aaron Williams as backup.

Their problem also before Vince got there is they had no one who could create their own shot. All their points came off fast breaks from great defense on the other end. That team was so stagnant in the half court. No 20ppg scorer during that time.
