I actually bought this fan set 4-5 years ago, the price is about the same and the fans have been working really well this whole time. I've moved them into 3 different cases and I've still not had any issues. I do recommend them if you just need fans to move air.

My experience with them is the complete opposite, unfortunately. I bought a pack back in March last year to use as case fans in one of my home servers and they're rubbish. Four of them are clipping really bad at anything above ~550 rpm. I don't know when it started but I noticed it in late December when I was doing some maintenance/cleaning on several of my computers. I don't care about them failing, like Jay said they're almost disposable. But their performance is worse than having some tiny pet mouses coughing at your heatsinks.

They are not the OG Antec that we all knew and loved. They failed to keep up with the market and went downhill after being purchased by some Taiwanese company in the 2010s. It was disappointing as I had both LANBoy I and II cases, multiple TruePower Trio and Earth Watt PSUs for my old AMD Athlon XP builds that I still use to this day. Even had their PSU tester and various LED fans that were single color LEDs in the 2005 era.

I love how so many people just mention the Arctic P12 or P14. Those are really good fans. Especially when considering the price. When the Fractal Design R6 came out I bought it and was really disappointed in the fans it came with. They pushed no air and when maxed out at 1000rpm where really loud and annoying. Then I wanted to replace them with some Noctua's but then I saw the price for the Noctua ones and researched a bit more thus I found the Arctic ones. I love the P14's I bought. The noise dropped, they moved more air even at really low rpm so much so that the temperatures for the GPU, CPU and VRM of the motherboard dropped by 10C compared to the Fractal ones at max rpm. Yes the Arctic ones running at lower rpm beat the Fractal ones at max rpm, and by a lot.

I did a refresh on my aging system last summer and put 4 of these in my case. I chose them because the price was right, I recognized the name, and they weren't some weird color like brown and beige. Yeah, they felt a little cheap in the hand (as you'd expect) but I was surprised at how well they seemed to move air and how quiet they were. The white blades reflect what little light I do have going on in there, which I think looks pretty classy.

I will stick with Arctic P12s for a long time tbh. They are bit more expensive (Tip: Arctic constantly makes discounts in eBay through its own shop If you buy at least 4 of them without the packaging and screws). Independent testing showed that P12s are pretty much as good as Noctua NF A12s, while being just a bit louder at high RPMs and having a slight noise from the rotor. On the plus side, they sell them in black and white, each one with either solid or color matched trasparent blades. Also: Gigabyte motherboards are known to be tricky sometimes with DC fans, most of the time the motherboard isn't able to regulate voltage, so they stay either completely off or at 12V.

I have a Antec case and I use the front fans and the header that came with it and they all work fine. Mine are RGB but still 3 pin and fairly quiet in my DF700.

I have a bunch of Antec RGB fans in some of my cases. They are my go-to for people who need a more budget PC. They have 120 and 140mm fans that look the same too, which is rare to find now and days.

I just ordered a pack those fans on January 31st from Amazon for the front intake of some cases at work that only have a 92mm exhaust fan. Haven't installed them yet.

Antec fans are what I got for my parent's computer years ago (probably 5 yrs?) when their fans locked up... they're still holding up to this day!

Ok but what if I want my $4 fans to suck? Like how else am I supposed to get cool air into my system if the fans don’t suck it in.

My custom watercooling PC is equiped with 10 Arctic P12 and for 25€ a pack of 5, it's a steal. Yes it's not as silent or efficient with radiators compared to a Noctua, but it gets the job done perfectly

This is why I love J2C, I thought while watching the video, what if I pass more voltage into the fans, and boom, Jays does it.

I used aerocool shark 120 and 140mm fans for my last build paired with a couple of pci rheobuses. Lots of cfm even turned way down making no noise.

I got the ones marketed under the Arctic brand (same frame same color same thing different name I guess) almost 5 years ago and they are still running A-ok in my case which I don't dust off as often as I should. Good stuff.

you can control 3-pin fans with a fan curve, however on all the mobo's i've had you can't set them lower as 60% fan speed. which can be pretty loud depending on the fan

Good company. I had these fans on my old build. They still run great. Their customer service is great too. One time, I had an 80 plus bronze PSU from them that died within warranty and they replaced it with an 80 plus platinum lol

I'm actually upgrading my case right now. Due to it being ancient and poorly optimized for thermals and this is literally perfect as I only have 3 working very LOUD fans. If these are as quiet as they seem, I'll be a very happy camper for the price.

My daily PC is a pre-built machine from CyberPower PC from 5+ years ago. Would I be able to install these fans anywhere in the case? I don't see any designated cut-outs or other places for them to be anchored.
