I just get open source stuff as there's always some open source equivalent to paid software if you look around. They are instantly accountable if they try and pull something shady in a release and then people just fork it (Like what happened with Audacity) or you can stay on an older version. No forced updates, it's possible to contribute to the software yourself, you can mod them to your liking, etc...

2 problems .. #1 you're wrong about shopping extensions . I've run several for several years a shame saved literally thousands of dollars and cash back bonuses in hundreds. I HAVE EVER had any issues. #2 youre advice against registry cleaners is completely wrong. CC Cleaner does an excellent job and is very reputable

That system looks BAD-ASS! The blue/purple lighting works so damned well with the blackout out theme. Great built Jay! One tiny thing though.....hit up the edge of the video card PCB with a black Sharpie. That exposed tan fiberglass board is a little off-putting.

Congrats Jay! Beautiful build as always. Someday I'll build in my SM8A, but it will clearly be a retro build when I get around to it!

Only things that are in my builds that are from EK are fittings, using EPDM from Aquacomputer. Dont see much of them on your channel. should try some, PPC has some. Else you can try some form highflow with the nl behind it, (yeah he's the one running the EKWB website in my country)

I will ask what do you recommend as the alternative between like Gigabyte, Asrock, MSI etc for boards? I’ve been on Asus since my first build in 2012, looking to build a new one because my rig from 2017 finally died enough to merit me start a new build.

Would it be possible to draw the bubbles out by pulling a vaccuum? Like when replacing brake fluid?

Using dual loop colors is cool, but somehow it has less effectd with the black tubing. It would have been more impressive with clear tubes... yea i'm nitpicking here lol. What would be a fun idea is to let Phil do a hardline custom watercooling contest against you, where you have 90 minutes to complete a loop, which would make it a rush job... against 4 hours time for Phil to complete it.

So with 14 fans in there, its kind of ironic that this is still considered a water cooled system? 🤪 Just saying.

the black tubes and CPU block. look clean. it hides many things. also highlights the others. good build. don't docks your self on it. take the win. if you have seen any of my other comments on RGB and color. take this as a super win

Upgrade question: My computer main components are MSI MPG X670E Carbon WiFi motherboard, MSI 3060 X12g GPU (Nvidia), 64 GB Kingston Beast DDR5 4800 memory, 850 watt power supply, Ryzen 7 7700 CPU (65w version). This is NOT used for gaming, but used for photo editing, specifically astro photos where 'stacking' is heavily used and the main programs are 'Pixinsight' and 'Affinity Photo' (both CPU intensive). I'm trying to figure out if I would gain anything significant by upgrading to the Ryzen 9 7900 CPU (65w version) and keeping all the other components the same. I have PBO enabled but no other tweaks. Can't find any good answers on the web so I'm asking the 'experts' here. Thanks!

Jay and the JTC community, first off love the videos and content. I just bought my very first gaming computer at the age of 35, i have never owned a computer before now. The PC is a used gaming computer i bought off a guy at work (local fire department) will the information and suggestions in this video something i need to do or would you happen to have a video that would be more suited to my situation. Thank you all, hope you all have a great day.

horrible advice on promocode extensions.... at least honey usually provides some value but giving actual promo codes. You're telling people to go to random BS coupon sides that are 98% fake and clicking on links that are actually doing who knows what.... use honey and use an extension manager extension. you turn on honey when youre about to buy something to see if theres a code, then you turn it off.
