*Lyrics below* 🥀 [Verse 1] Yes I'm a petty lover today Cause I'm still mad about yesterday No stupid questions asking me "Why ?" There's no kiss for you when I say goodbye Oh,oh [Pre-Chorus] Let that shit go, let that shit go You keep telling me to.. Let that shit go, let that shit go Hmm Say you don't know why I'm so cold Hey Where did I go, like you don't know [Chorus] I'm not an easy lover, but I make times for others No I don't take this likely You keep calling me sober, like there's something to say But now the weekend is over, it's just another day [Verse 2] Yes I'm a bitchy lover today So don't speak to me when I feel this way Don't text me and expect to reply Cause we both know that she still on your mind I need to.. [Pre-Chorus] Let that shit go, let that shit go Keep telling me to.. Let that shit go, let that shit go Hmm Say you don't know why I'm so cold Hey Where did I go, like you don't know [Chorus x2] I'm not an easy lover, but I make times for others No I don't take this likely You keep calling me sober, like there's something to say But now the weekend is over, it's just another day I'm not an easy lover, but I make times for others No I don't take this likely You keep calling me sober, like there's something to say But now the weekend is over, it's just another day

@voiceofDS6 жыл бұрын
It's naive to think that. There are thousands of similar artists out there, who equally deserve to be "the next big thing" because they are fantastic . This doesn't take away any depth from this beautiful song, or makes it any less special. But often enough, it's not about "being the next big thing". It's about making music which inspires people, and writing songs which are telling stories.

Inter Well Music and the World in general lost a Talented storyteller in Aretha. We don't get many of those in a lifetime, but we can hope as she had a lot to say and said it well. Sadly a majority of Music today has become sterile to storytelling artist. Far too many seem more preoccupied telling their story via social media or being a celebrity than care about the work they produce sadly. Well done Aretha, may you RIP

You just gave 'm a million dollar idea. There's a growing number of people listening to indie artists and "b-list celebs". They produce a lot of good music. I listen to Jaz, because i love her art and not cause the industry tricks me into liking her by pushing her songs like crazy.

There's just something about her vibe that makes her seem so enticing. Then again COLORS does a great job in general. I'd almost think they gave this artists acting lessons with how well their body and facial movements match the mood of the song.
