@soncere Hubbard I definitely understand exactly what you are going through. If a person can walk away from you, then let them walk. They weren't meant to be there, because God has someone who will give all the desires of your heart ♥. Try to focus on Him and yourself not what you use to have with your ex. Once you get passed the ruminating, remember how the relationship really was.

BS. The key to getting them out of your life is to leave and never return. "Prayer" is a comfort blanket that prevents you from actually doing the work. No mystery man is coming to save you. By your logic, the key to keeping them in your life would also me prayer. It doesn't matter if you pray or not, if it's not HIS will then you can't have it. It's about what HE WANTS not what YOU want. Grown women still asking "daddy" for things they more than you won't get unless you do it. Never again will I ever ask "god," "the lord" for anything else. It's a complete waste of time.

Ladies when you let that man back in after leaving cause he doesn’t treat you right, it makes you feel like you lose more respect for yourself every time. Love yourself baby ❤ It hurts. It really does. But it gets easier every day. That pain will go away and turn into happiness and peace. Trust me I’ve lived thru it myself. Stand up for yourself and stop taking somebody else’s sh*t! Whatever it is, you can get thru it. Let go and let God! Pray for the strength and guidance. Pray for God to align you so you can receive your blessings. We all go astray from our paths sometimes. But it’s never too late to do better. The physical, mental, and emotional abuse isn’t worth whatever it is that man thinks he is doing for you. It’s hard to stand on your own two feet, but believe in yourself that you have the strength. Because you really do. The only way to heal from trauma is peace of mind. And if you’re reading this I honestly hope you find that peace. Much love ❤💯

I’m thankful for this song. It changed my perspective. I’ve been dating the healthiest partner I have ever been with in my life to date, and tried to end the relationship because of little things. This person has no red flags and I’m so accustom to being hurt so good that I was wanting to throw myself back to the streets to that chaos if the past. If it wasn’t for this song and the tears I shed listening to it I wouldn’t have changed my perspective and stayed. The person I’m dating has done nothing wrong to me I’m just so accustom to dysfunction and it’s time for me to receive and give what’s healthy. Breaking Generational curses…

Whew!!!! How you Aretha, Dorinda & Kim Burrell on one track?! I wish the Queen herself was still among the living to weigh in on this track bc baby girl voice did that Aretha crying on this one REF. to "Hurts Like Hell" & "Ain't No Way". IYKYK -- Also reminds me of Jennifer Hudson's "Stand Up" track that was released on the UK debut album. Jazmine Marie Sullivan... alright nah! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

The way she uses her voice 🤦🏾♂️. The runs and riffs are so intricate, amazing choices. The yodel at 1:43 is ELITE 👏🏾

"I'm tired, and I'm worn.. and we go back and forth, but you break me down and show no remorse"... im only a shadow of what I once was... I don't listen to a lot of women artists, but this woman makes me feel every experience I've had... im not one to show my scars.. I cover up and keep it moving... but damn, this song got my mind in a place of pain and gratitude, simultaneously.

Listening to this at work and tears just fell from my face because I'm in a relationship with a toxic person who is mentally emotionally and physically abusive and I'm so broken down and my self esteem has been destroyed I know I need to run and don't look back but I don't know how. Lord help me
