@@SonicVirtualizer Why have you stopped posting content? These recordings (and your music choices) are wonderful! Please upload more. There are several channels here on KZbin that upload really good quality vinyl recordings, and they're a great alternative to music streaming services, with a different enough sound that allows for even more music enjoyment. Your videos provide another such option, and as I don't have high-end audio equipment, I have to rely on half-decent IEMs to 'experience' listening rooms such as yours.

I feel like I'm inside your home. Listening on my trusty old HD600s and JDS ODAC w/ O2 amp. The limiter is the 96kbps aac audio track in KZbin's stream. Still sounds really great. Looking forward to more.

Beautiful setup, sounds great running through my system via optical to marantz pre to rotel amp to paradigm reference speakers.From a visual & functional perspective might I suggest it would also look good & balanced with the pre-amp centered on top of your beautiful antique wood cabinet & set the turntable on top of that. It would be any easier reach & to see it up closer to eye level sitting or standing, this would be a great way to let any heat flow out easier from the amp as well & help maintain your investment for even longer. I personally never set anything on top of my amps or receivers, even in a shelf I leave plenty of ventilation around & over top. The amp may run just warm like my rotel but cooler is better in the long run even if only a few degrees. Never had any heat issues w many units, but heat is the #1 killer of any electronics, followed by dust, static, dirt or hair buildup. As well I keep a dehumidifier in the room next to my theater/listening room around 50-60% max to keep things dry & comfy. Really though, sounds great even compressed, Looks great. I have listened to many McIntosh & very nice systems over the years. Reply hear if you do decide to change it around I would love to see a new video of it.

Hey! this is nice! I hear a lot of hiss and pops at about 4:45 to 5:00. Is that part of the vinyl sound, or is it something in my setup? My headphones, or that I'm just using my laptop's converter?

I hear it too, sounds like pops on the record ...normally down to dirt in the grooves

Do you have LEDs in your 7205? It's interesting that the meters are flickering (and almost in time with the music!). It's kind of a neat, accidental effect :D

simply sublime! Really appreciate your effort man. Grooving with my grado ps500 :DD Background was still not clean and lack that touch of dynamic but who can blame utube :D The quality of the album itself is fantastic + bin aural + great headphone => ???

Nice sound. Did the turntable only cost $400?
@SonicVirtualizer8 жыл бұрын
Yes, somewhere there about. In my opinion the law of diminishing returns sets in rather quickly with turntables when compared with their price levels. I enjoy Vinyl as a novelty quite a bit but in all honesty their is no comparison to a properly good DAC.

What equipment are you using to record?
@johnsayers2957 жыл бұрын
A nice try...but it sounds like you are recording the speaker output. I have this recording and play back via Ortofon spu, accustat electrotatics etc and If I tried to present it on youTube using your method it would sound terrible too.
