This is a fantastic lesson. The performance and the explanation of what you are trying to get across in your playing. I think this helps everyone know is practical and giggable and what is you finding a new voice and new ideas using this as a practice. Super!😊

Thanks so much, I really appreciate that! There's so much that goes into creating a solid walking bass line - it seems like every time I play in this style, I'm thinking about a world of possibilities. And it all changes based on context, style, song, and more. It's really exciting - it makes me look forward to picking up the bass. I'm so glad that you connected with this!

Thanks so much! This was a fun one to put together. I don't get a chance to play in this style on gigs much, so it was nice to come back to it for the video! Glad you enjoyed!

I'd love to play Plectrum banjo with this!

Do I hear a jam session coming on?!? I'm there. This would be really fun with banjo. That's kind of a lost instrument in jazz honestly. I mean, we have Bela Fleck, but that's about it. It was such an essential part of early jazz. It's too bad it hasn't continued in a big way. But jam with a banjo??? I'm there!
