I just came across this, and this is one of the finest renditions of this tune I’ve heard. So excellent.

you should give a lesson of this tune at 2021 UK chromatic harmonica event in June, I plan view via US zoom, I really enjoy your videos as a learning chromatic harmonica player, I am 67 and love it

Great idea! I already chosed subject for this time, but maybe for another master class at HarmonicaUK?

Hi there, I am a huge fan, found your channel a few years ago, when I bought my first chromatic harmonica, and this was the first track that I learned to play, I actually learned from your interpretation becouse I find it perfect. Anyways, the backing track is no longer available on youtube, so I was wondering if you maybe have it….there are lots of backing tracks on youtube, but I realy got used to this one. Thank you for your answer, your music and the passion that you share 🙏

Hi, thanks for your kind words! So happy to help and inspire. Unfortunately I don't remember exactly which backing track I used but I remember I searched on KZbin. Check the channel "Learn Jazz Standards" they have a lot of good backing tracks up. Thanks again and keep on playing!

Beautiful! If I may suggest other standards, it would be Round Midnight or anything by Monk, or Little Sunflower by Freddie Hubbard, or Footprints by Wayne Shorter. :)

Do you offer tabs and lessons on jazz standards like this on your Patreon page?

Unfortunately I can't do that because of copyright reasons. I can only post my own material there. Thanks for asking!

Magnifique ! (tongue blocking, or puckering, or may be both?)
@FilipJersMusic3 жыл бұрын
Both! Sometimes both in the same phrase, haha... I started playing pucker but been adding tongue block the last years to the chromatic.

Can you tell me what key you are playing this in? Thanks.
@FilipJersMusicАй бұрын
C major! Usually it is in Db but Toots Thielemans did it in C so I'll stick to that.
@dennisferrell3662Ай бұрын
@@FilipJersMusicI wondered about that. In my copy of the Real Jazz Book it’s in C. But in my ancient copy of The Real Fake Book it’s in Db.
