I come back to this part and it just really hit me that in the instruction booklet it flat out states that Devin unleashed the gates of hell in this final rush to stop him. Think about that Openin hell wasn't the end game, it wasn't even a priority for that damn turtle HE DID IT JUST TO SLOW JAZZ AND SPAZ DOWN And even having literal hell shoved in their faces didn't stop them. Gosh I miss the 90s and how absurd game events could get.
@DinnerForkTongueАй бұрын
And the fact he did it _to slow them down_ implies that he _knew_ Inferno wouldn't stop them. That is incredibly badass.

Why can't every game have good music such as this?
@ThinBear49 жыл бұрын
OS LP Good games, and good things in general, take a lot of effort to make. It's much more profitable to feed another Modern Warfare to the people and reap the gains.

Damn, Alexander Brandon makes most guitarists and keyboardists in the prog/heavy metal industry blush like babies. This is soooooo damn good, the entire soundtrack in this game can be an entire separate music album on its own.

I've beat the original, but having heard this elsewhere (a map for Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart, funnily enough) it makes me wanna give it a proper shot. Only ran the GOG release to see how it was, and test JJ2+ The map's Polychrome Polygon Zone, Virtua Racing-type visuals and this banger is a strange but awesome mix
@ArcadeStriker2 жыл бұрын
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I didn't expect anyone mentioning that in the comments here! (I'm the Author of ArcadePak, the mappack where said track using this music is featured) Glad to know that you enjoyed it! I also have to try out JJ2 myself since it does seem a bit reminscent of Sonic, but never have played it yet (I actually found the song because it was used in the Reelism mod for Doom)
@RadikAlice2 жыл бұрын
@@ArcadeStriker Yo! Hello! And I see, the rabbit hole continues. How funny, I've played Reelism too If you already have a GOG account definitely get it there, as JJ2+ is a downloadable extra. Game runs fine on Win10, but JJ2+ fixes the menu scrolling non-stop which makes selecting stuff hard as hell

... the background tiling just made me realize that the reason this game is so easy is probably in part because they balanced it for a lower resolution. Since it just zooms in and out rather than scaling everything up or down. So enemies like that devil running towards you might pose an actual problem when you can't see it coming from a mile away.
