"I'm excited but I'm also shattered inside" is a good example of most older ARMY listening to Spring Day, when you're past the point of only seeing it as sad, I've always considered it a bittersweet song. Edit : "I really want this to be a recording I can listen to" again completely matching ARMYs mindset lol we want to be able to buy acoustic/band versions of the songs too ㅠㅡㅠ along with special remixes they'll only perform live too. This performance was what got me hooked on BTS. I just love their interactions and how they enjoyed themselves so much that they couldn't help just getting out of their chairs and dance. I've rewatched this numerous times since then. For that two-part ending of "Spring Day", it's interesting to myself how it shows that I've gotten to know them gradually better over time. The first time I saw this, of course I didn't know who was who and just enjoyed that part. Further down the line, I knew that it was JK, V, and Jimin who sang the first part, and they showed Jin joining the second part, and I thought, the vocal line! Just now when I watched this again with you, I'm already familiar with their voices. So when Jin joined the second part, I thought, wait. I can hear his voice also singing the high harmony, so the added lower harmony is not him. Then I realized that it was J-hope! I'm so proud of myself for knowing that, haha.

Finally! I suggest this to all new reactors, it is such a nice intro to their style and singing. And a live band. And their great individual style! This was my gateway video to fandom and my JImin bias. When I watched Spring day the first time, I didn't know what is was about, but I could tell from performance it was emotional song. Yes! This concert was so good. I think they were just really happy to see the band and get to perform amid the mess and disappointment that was the height of the pandemic. It'll be interesting for you to see the Armypedia Talk Show performances with a live band too (and the Suga cam from that because it's hilarious), but they did older songs for that one so you might have a ways to go before you get up to it. (UltraPurple has the whole thing with English subtitles.)

Yes this was performed last year in the middle of pandemic and they were really going through a hard time with their tour getting cancelled. That line at the end of RM's rap, "Thank You, Uri Ga Dwae Jwoseo" (Thank you for being part of 'us') is one of the most important lines for ARMY's. In a live setting, we all get to shout that line together, so RM drops out and ARMY shouts that line at the top of our lungs. I got to do that myself for the first time on December 2nd and it was without a doubt the most meaningful moment of the concert for me. In this performance, the rest of the boys sung the line instead, knowing we couldn't be there, but finding a way to include us the best way they could.

Just wanted to point out JHope also joined in on the lower harmonies at the end of Spring Day! I believe BTS has joked before that Suga and RM’s voices don’t blend well in group vocals but I don’t really believe it because they have done it for other songs. But tangent aside I love how this mini concert showcases JHopes vocal abilities too! I absolutely love his singing voice. If you both want a laugh you need to react to his Japanese song with Suga called Otsukare. There is no official studio version so any lyric video you watch will just have the live vocals from their performance. I advise to just skip right to the live performance to get the full effect!

The band elevates the songs and BTS to a whole new level of "Wow!". When you watch/listen to this again... Run BTS is the only one that can be uploaded to KZbin. There is a platform called Patreon to alot of reactors use where they put up things that can't be uploaded onto KZbin. It is a option and it would be fun for you and your wife to react to BTS's show where you really get to see them when they are not on stage.

All their MICS are custom made with Swarovski crystals. V doesn't use a sparkly MIC- he said it gets heavy with the crystals. Suga also doesn't always use the sparkly MICS, but he's never said why.

I hope they get to come back and do it again but in person like how it's meant to be done. =0) Loved their outfit's. They emote extremely well. I always feel what they feeling. They bring the lyrics to life for me. One of my fav's is Class of 2020 concert. They did 3 songs too. Spring Day was one, Boy with Luv ft. Halsey another, and Mikrocosmos the last.
