This Jazz Piano Tutorial is about Minor Scales.
A Scale is just some subset of the 12 notes. A Diatonic scale is one particular subset of 7 of the 12 notes, with the result being the Major Scale. A minor scale is any scale derived from the Major scale but with a b3. There are 7 scale degrees you can modify. Each one is listed below with details as how if and how you can modify it.
