You are welcome! Always best to play jazz with real musicians! Try your local junior college. They tend o have small jazz combos with students who are also new to jazz.

Your etudes are great! I practice sight singing (and transposing)to them. A little Blue Monk in this one. I am considering getting a used ipad to use the garage band app. Can you store files on it ,or do you have to use " the cloud"?

Thanks! I'm not sure if the garage band app is as "slick" on the Ipad as it is on the laptop. I'm sure you can save files on the ipad itself but I always use an external drive on my laptop. I tend to go through memory quickly because of all the videos. Those files are huge!
