*Importance of keeping sketchbooks* 1. Compilation of thoughts, ideas, sketches or even artwork 2. Think of it as a menu- like I Paint basic background ideas in my sketchbook (not complete artwork) but if I was to paint a complete painting and I’m not sure on what sky to paint I would look at that page and choose one as if it’s a menu and I’m going to choose what to eat 😂 3. It’s meant to be crappy- it’s a place where you can just do challenges like blindfold drawing or no thumbs 4. Buying sketchbooks are usually cheaper than a bunch of loose paper Feel free to share your thoughts :)

I’ve been drawing for around 44 or 45 of my 48 years (yikes) and I honestly wish I still had sketchbooks from when I was a teen. The few I had, anyway... We didn’t have a lot of money, so I mostly only got one if it was for school, but I did have some others I got for personal use. Most of the time I had to draw on blank paper. Unfortunately, my mom tossed most of my work from before I moved out and got married, but I still have a few drawings left from my teens and early twenties. I cherish those now, bad as some of them were.

If you have the time, I think it would be really cool if you put up once or twice a week a picture of an older puce if your art on your social media with a little story of what it is or why you made it ^_^ just a thought.

Can you try using a scribble pen? Apparently it can write/draw in any color the end of the pen touches, and needs to be charged. I personally think it's a scam, it's really expensive tho..but I really wanna see if it works...
