@petarpehchevski3d3385 жыл бұрын
I respect magicians because you know it's fake but you marvel at their ability to trick you and pull it off despite you keeping a watchful eye. If you trick the audience into believing it's real even though it isn't, that's being a con artist. Is that respectable? Impressive, yes. Respectable, no. Same as lyp syncing.
@photonicpizza14665 жыл бұрын
Lip sync involves creation of genuine art by the artist themself, the original song stays impressive because that's what you're hearing. This is simply just replication. If it involves the artist making digital art, it's neat, but it's only the digital art that's impressive. Not the copy, not what you're seeing. This isn't a respectable art form, if it even is an art form at all.

My challenge for you Jazza: Throw all intuition out the window and draw by the numbers. What do I really mean? Well you first will need a compass (like what you use to draft with), a ruler, the angle semicircle (sry, forgot its name), and a place to put down all those numbers. The whole point is to see if you can ditch all your built up artist intuition when it comes to curves and line lengths and draw with math alone. Afterwards color can be added (but since color math is REALLY hard and too time consuming you don't have to do anything mathy for that part), but this challenge focuses mostly on the sketching and line art of a drawing. If you can do this, you can show all the math-brained beginners that they too can create art. (Warning: I have an ulterior motive. I am one of those math-brained beginners.)

I think you went into this with a set idea and your own set of rules/ standards for how to "printer art" and tried to adhere to them well. Then after acquiring others "barbecue sauce" saw the real potential and opened to a little more of what others were doing. When you "printed" your second work ( which was a wonderful piece) I was reminded of the game Clue, Professor Jazza did it in the art gallery with a pencil, strictly to acquire more barbecue sauce... 👍❤ Loved it, very entertaining, frame that puppy and keep it forever!!!
