Check out Evan and Kaitlyn. It's a different kind of channel, but they've done several of the same things Jazza experimented with. I'm sure lots of artists would love to do a video on every art form, but without the money and team that Jazza has, it's a lot less feasible. You'll probably notice he doesn't get into the really expensive arts until after his channel blew up.

My favorite thing about watching Jazza make art is that he always has fun making it. He really takes the "no mistakes, only happy accidents" philosophy of Bob Ross & applies it to every video. I love how he's not looking to completely master what he's doing in the video, he's just exploring the medium and learning with us. Thank you for all that you do, Jazza!

my aunt's been taking glassblowing classes and studio time for the last two years. it was a gift of classes for christmas that got her started. it's so fun watching people grow with glass in various ways. i definitely like the idea of melting glass rather than cutting it myself (for stained glass work). this was nice to watch! and also made me aware of just how cynical i am when jazza is so excited about everything and the colors and how things turn out. i need to attend to my inner critic again and i'm glad for the gentle reminder.

I wish we got more of an explanation of what's happening and why, more of the actual journey. I feel like we got to see some cool looking shots and the final results, but not much of a story. It's nice to look at, but I'm not gonna be coming back to rewatch, or remember anything in particular about this. I feel like it's a real shame, especially when Jazza's trying out such cool, unique techniques that not many people get an opportunity to explore. Maybe even if there wasn't much time to get a lot of footage at the workshop, it'd still be fun to have Jazza sit down and tell us about the experience step by step and have the tale be illustrated by the cool clips. I know these videos are edited for maximum reach, but it's cases like this when I really wish we got more meat on the bones of content, so to speak. And I think it might actually be more of a draw, too - I'm thinking of someone like Safiya Nygaard, who goes very much into longer form, meticulously well-researched and informative videos, often about taking on a new skill, and they get millions of views, and are praised for insane rewatchability, which I can vouch for. I realise her content is a polar opposite to Jazza's, especially with the direction the editing's taken lately, so I'm not advocating going for an extreme. I'm just saying, I come back to certain Jazza videos because I remember the story of it, and I believe that's ultimately what people get interested in.

I've been to Bath Aqua Glass! Years ago now when I went to England I just randomly passed by and saw they had a sign own for demos that afternoon so I went. I then found a shop here in my city in Canada where I could take classes. You did a fantastic job! Great teachers guiding you. I don't know if you got to see or do it, but some of the craziest things for me with glassblowing are when you spin it 360 degrees to elongate the glass and using a thick wad of wet newspaper to shape the glass. It feels like the closest you can get to shaping the glass with your hand. You should try lampworking! It's small scale glass working using a table mounted torch and rods of glass to make things like marbles, beads, pendants, little sculptures, and even glass pens!

Hey Jazza, I recently got into VR, and got this idea. Since you have a VR headset and 3D printers, you could make a set of 3d printer armor for yourself or Shad. Of course purely cosmetic. You could make a mannequin of someone just by sketching with controller close to their body, and in programs like Gravity Sketch you have a scale indicator, and later export in 3d printable formats. Love the channel :)

Gonna confess I’m extremely envious. Glass blowing ornaments and paperweights is a long time dream. I’ve made glass beads and glass colors don’t behave like you think they would., it’s not like mixing paint. Sometimes the colors react with each other and you get mud or you could get cool effects. Glass is a fickle mistress but so incredibly cool.

I almost went to school to be a glass blower. But I spent a couple of days in the glass school and the hot wasn't for me. One thing I made shattered because I couldn't get close enough to place is in the cooling "owen?" The teachers were used to teach over 3 years, so no hands on help and only an ugly blob to show. But it's not something everyone has tried, so it's still fun to have experienced it. Would love to try it again as a grown up and with someone like Slim as help.

Oh man, that was so cool and awesome of the guys to fit you in on short notice. And they seemed like such great teachers. Loved the video, loved seeing masters at work, and the art was enjoyable as ever.

I've always wanted to learn how to blow glass ever since I saw Dale Chihuly on PBS when I was a kid. I've been into Murano glass recently and would love to go there to learn it.

I remember when I was taking my associate's degree I needed to take some classes to flesh out my schedule so I was considered full time, I took a glassblowing class. It was a lot of fun. I feel like glass is a really responsive media so you can get immediate feedback as to how you are doing with it. I made a bunch of dumpy shot glasses, and a couple of steins. For our final we had to make several glasses, one with a handle, one with bit-work, and one without a handle or bit-work, as well as a piece with color. I had tried to make a flame for my color piece but the glass pieces defused in the kiln. The handled glass I made was great, it had nearly straight sides, no included bubbles in the wall, the wall was a comfortable thickness, the handle was nearly perfect. Then while grinding the bottom flat on the grit-stone it caught an edge and was thrown out of my hand and shattered. I was so angry.
