Valves known to stick on many of their models.

@@dylanwylde4093 who have you heard this from? I have never heard of mechanical issues with Monette trumpets. They previously had their valve blocks made by Getzen, who is also known for fantastic valves, and starting making their own in around 2005. Again, I have never heard a complaint.

and being hydrated may be important for athletes, but also any musicians using wind. It is exhausting to play an instrument, or sing even. I get headaches if I haven't had much water, especially after I wake up.

Thank you, Ravi! My breathing has always sucked and I know it hurts my playing. An old girlfriend once told me that I don't breathe ( I just wrote her off as one of those uppity Yoga chicks, but she was right). I think I can play a set without even being aware of my breathing and that isn't because I am doing it right. This video will help.

Did anyone feel sleepy?

No. We don't "yawn" nor do we need to. Inhale using the nose for the most natural and beneficial inhalation. ALWAYS use the nasal inhalation as the basis. Supplement with the mouth only as required.
