Seit über 30 Jahren ist das kultige Soul-Jazz-Kollektiv um seinen Gründer und Sound-Visionär Jean-Paul »Bluey« Maunick nun schon erfolgreich im Musikgeschäft tätig. Einst als Pioniere der quirligen englischen Acid Jazz-Szene gestartet, begeistert die Multikulti-Combo bis heute mit ihrer unverwechselbaren Melange aus treibenden Funky Grooves, elegant-souligen Melodielinien und großartigen Stimmen und vereint dabei das beste aus Jazz, Soul und R’n’B.

Arrangements are abfab tops of the notch. Blowers, groovy Rhodes, bit of synth sometimes, great, Hammond-like shit, tops ! Name it, its there ! And that syncope rythm when needed. Creadible !
