K. Duncan. is going to be a beast later on. She will be the next generation of great USA sprinters.

My team ran a 45.03 in boys in our high school and I thought we were fast, it's amazing how fast these girls are!

@csportmaria Yes it was bad due to Rebecca Alexander leaving early. You can see the go-marks clearly in this video, and she takes off about two steps before Semoy Hacket hit the marks. Give her credit for immediately knowing that she left early which is why she made the adjustment by slowing down so that Hackett could catch her. Without this hiccup, they would have probably run 42.4.

@jazzcyclist Yeah, you are right....but it was real close! It doesn't look like she took her first step though until after she hits the box....i mean she did turn and start, but I don't know if she had taken her first step yet...but either way it wasn't the greatest of handoffs!
@mightymouse203413 жыл бұрын
@jazzcyclist I don't know if she left too early! I think she felt as if she did and slowed down when she didn't have to! Because Rebecca slowed down it made Semoy slow down! If she would've just kept running and put her hand back instead of trusting her mark then they would've ran 42.2 maybe....but she didn't trust that she left when she was supposed to! I mean she took off when her foot was in the box and that's when she needed to! But they got the handoff done and that's what matters

Great look at "LSU", 1st leggers here's a technique: stay low to ground and kick the curve. Second pass will always approach fast in a 4/100 relay./C.M.

the girl that fell, her name is Dominique Duncan she just graduated Texas A&M i go to the summer track & field camp every summer and she was my student coach. as much as i learned from her it wasnt her fault the anchor took off to slowly and caused Dominique to slow down in short noticed and stumbled upon her self to try and slow down. I'm only 12 and i know this.

Not taking anything from LSU but A&M's order wasn't as smart as it could have been. I think they have too much speed

not only did she leave early, her hand was too damn low to pass the bato safely...look & see that she raised her hand higher before 2nd legattempted to put the baton in her hand.....they will brak the collegiate record.

4:40 LSU should have been DQ'd: Duncan took the turn too wide and stepped into lane 6 A&M deserved that title
@InternationalBrother4 жыл бұрын
Are you blind? The #3 runner for Texas A&m took out Houston and should have been DQ'ed. LSU didn't impede Texas A&M and you don't get DQ'ed for running outside your lane unless you impede someone.

The 3rd leg for Texas A&M was forced to step inside the lane because the anchor left no room to maneuver during the exchange because she took off too close to the inside of the lane. She fell, trying to stay in the lane. If anything, Texas A&M might've been DQed.
