oml this is so BEAUTIFUL!! The cinematography's stunning, the art and animation and rendering and color palette are all gorgeous, and I love love love all the little details to discover every time I watch this. The red strings we see in those Akechi shots especially make me go so so feral; it's SUCH a poignant way to show how much of a puppet the world, fate, life want to make him, that these strings are always there, hauntingly out of view. And the frame where the thread's around his NECK, and the single frame where it looks like his hands in the white silhouette might be reaching towards it, absolute CINEMA, amazing showstopping incredible work!!!
