I'm a hip-hop head, and lately, I've been on a quest to find the source material for the great hip-hop songs. Nas and Q-Tip brought me here. This is an amazing track. You just have to sink into your chair, close your eyes, and soak it in. I like to imagine I'm sitting in a comfortable booth in a small, dark, and smokey jazz club with a perfect view of all the players on the stage. I'm wearing a hand-made suit that fits me absolutely from the collar to the cuff. In one hand is a delicous Manhatten that no matter how much I sip never seems to decrease and the ice hasn't watered it down. My other hand is around the shoulder of my beautiful wife. Her dress is tastefully revealing and equally classy. Her mouth is wet and lips are red with her favorite Spanish red wine. When I whisper something in her ear her perfume triggers neurons that haven't been fired before. She is as in-tune with the music as I am and sits with confidence in the knowledge that as much as she is my woman I am her man. There is a sweet smelling cigar smoldering on the edge of a large cut crystal ash tray. The steady wisps of smoke gently curl into the air. Here, it is the incense burning during a religious ceremony. This is the evening to savor.
