This is so tasty- delicious. New fan here. I heard it on Amazon Music in a shuffle Verve mix while in the shower. I had to stop everything to see who this was. I love everything about it: the arrangement is unlike anything I've heard and Lizz Wright's voice is so hauntingly rich and beautiful. Well done!

Lizz Wright : Afro Goddess you are right. Does someone knows the name of the pianist ? His solo is wonderful, and sound's like Robert Glasper's one. He played in 2003 (two years before the first LP of Robert Glasper's LP). Who inspired the other one ?

The Name of the pianist and producer is Jon Cowherd - great piano-player! Nevertheless despite his relevance for the sense and feeling of that piece he is not mentioned anywhere! :-( But I agree: Lizz Wright´s singing is divine!
