I credit (or blame) these guys for addicting me to dixieland and traditional jazz. Watching them on the old Mickey Mouse Club as a young boy, I was hooked.

I have not heard these guys in decades. I preferred these guys to Rock N Roll. When I started working, I fell in love with Country Music.
They played real dixie land music. As they played as group not as individuals.

@@Richard53445 I know now! Thanks, I have a few of their red 45's. Good to know the music was linked to so many of my childhood memories. I never get tired of learning new things. This music never gets old. It's fun for my brain to click into the memory mode of happy times with my Dad as he played spoons along to the music of the Fire House 5. Happy the internet is such a great storage unit for these "oldies"!!!

To my knowledge, Walt Disney didn't write an autobiography! His daughter wrote a biography of her dad - the usual puff piece. A better recent one would be "Hollywood's Dark Prince" - I forgot the author's name..
