One day, he just decided to "take a break". No closure, no good reasons, no nothing. I'm left bruised and scarred, broken and battered. It's been 2 months, and it still doesn't get easy. Their new song, Bad At Love, hits me like a bullet train too. Every day I wake up hoping he would call. But he never did. I always love Mayday. No one knew why or what caused you to do it, but.. if I could have been there, I promise I would have been. After you moved away, I thought about you all of the time. Every day nearly. After Chase died it was the whole "Oh my gosh. You were such a great person and such a good friend. RIP." And while some people meant what they said, a lot of them didn't even know Chase. They saw him in the hallway or something and acted like they knew him personally. Well, I did. I knew him personally and it hurts. It hurts a lot. He was my best friend for 3 years and would have been many more if he hadn't have moved away. After he moved though I guess he just sort of forgot about me a little bit. I would message him and try to contact him, but he never wrote back. I always tried figuring out what I possibly did wrong. Chase was my first love in 3rd grade. I may have been young, but it was present. It was there. I loved him and he knows I did. I didn't forget about him ever. I have messages from last summer Of me trying to talk to him.
