There is whole point that his FTE’s if you read between the lines point that things weren’t so simple with his sister. Reading through them, seeing how his sister tulpa acts in his breakdown. It really points to the fact that at minimum his sister was bossy and controlling, and at worst, blatantly manipulative. Someone who wanted to live vicariously through Korekiyo. It’s clear as day it’s terrible that he killed almost 100 women, but there’s the angle that he’s a bit of a victim here of shitty people.

I still like Korekiyo even after this, it’s just awful that many people imply his relationship with his sister as incest when it was all just emotional and mentally abuse so he could cling onto the idea that his sister was his everything so he would stay by her side and do everything to please her even after death. SPOILERS OF V3 ENDING Although, the ending of V3 is confusing but I like to think that Tsumugi faked all of their submissions videos, cosplaying as them in order to make them believe that it was all an act. So their memories are mixed up and unsure to tell what’s real or not.

Yeah, not enough people either read between the lines of his FTE’s and the way his sister tulpa acted. It paints that picture that the ‘incest’ wasn’t so black and white. At minimum his sister was controlling and bossy. And at worst straight up manipulative. I still loved his character after this because even with that in mind, the incest motive for a character as creepy and warped as him fits him so well. An incredibly creepy motive, for an equally creepy character and I love it so much.

i agree. honestly that plot was incredibly unnecessary. while it makes for a serial killer who kills in the game, who also wasn’t baited by the motive, there was a lot more potential. he could have definitely killed only tenko and gotten away with it, i think that would have been a lot smarter, especially for a serial killer. i still really like kiyo after that plot, but i agree that it ruins him and that he had a lot more potential. while a reason like that to kill people is fitting for a character that was shown to be creepy and outcast, there could have been other options that didn’t ruin him. but i guess we can’t have everything at once.

After all this time I'm still disappointed that Danganronpa V3 could have had an interesting case where someone else killed Angie and Kiyo would still be walking around as a killer but they decided to take the easy way out and just have him kill them both. It's a shame really, this trial would have been much better had that been the case.

Korekiyo was done dirty during the 3 Chapter's Trial. I don't mind the idea of having Korekiyo be Tenko's killer, but I don't think he should've been Angie's killer. IMO, I think it should've been Tenko who murdered Angie.

I've just noticed that a possible reason Korekiyo's sister might be able to talk through him could be because of the caged child's seance. He might have done it before as the person under the cage so that his sister could talk through him. Maybe even used that power to determine if her sister would be good friends with girls.
