Im so happy! The cool new leafy recipies and the volt goats are sweet as a wigfrid main! Im sooo excited. Can lure plants still go on boats without spawning eye plants? Im pretty sure they still do.

wow i was seeing the post on the last update and the klei dev said he will think about it to make teh goats renewable. all suggestions from players were cheating options which i didnt like. but this is genius what he did. thx for showing jazzy

WOW I completely missed this update! I'm so glad I found this video. All I knew was that I had missed SOMETHING but I had no idea what it was, I mainly noticed because I was able to craft mast attachments, and I always just went for the lightning rod mast thing, which I still haven't gotten to see how it works.

This only works with goat herds for now, however I believe Psam mentioned once that you can create a new beefalo herd by letting a fully-domesticated beefalo turn feral.

Troubled waters looks amazing the new dishes are very useful and make me want to explore the oceans for barnacles and am excited to have new threats in the oceans. As of now I still think the oceans are a bit bland but I think in one or two more updates enough biomes and mobs will fill up the oceans into a area full of life. I think the next update should have more stuff come inland from the sea or maybe add merm fisherman back from shipwrecked to go on their own special boats and have trades with survivors (discounts for wurt also).

I couldn't care less about barnacles, but those leafy meat recipies are pure gold. Who needs pierogi when you have beefy greens? Also sanity management is so much easier with jelly salad. I mean seriously, I picked Woodie to use his transformations to their full potential. All that sanity drain from four transformations in a row gets negated from 3-4 jelly salads. I rarely bothered making lureplant farms. I usualy made it when I was bored and realised I had like 20 lureplants in a chest. Now they are one of my first farms I make (well... when spring hits of course).

The new recipes present a perplexing decision that we all must now make. Are they better than the previous go-to recipes? Mainly, Beefy Greens vs. Pierogi. Pierogi is significantly easier to make since it only requires 1 veggie. Unless you manage to rush the Lunar Island or can set up a Bunny farm quick, then that’s a big deal! The other conflict is Jelly Salad vs. Taffy. Taffy is significantly cheaper due to the sheer abundance and low spoilage time of honey. However, due to how much Taffy you need to make, you’ll have to have tons of crockpots. The issue with Jelly Salad is that it’s expensive. Those 2 Leafy Meats could go towards making Pierogi, Meatballs, or Beefy Greens. So, it seems like the choice should be made given the resources you have at the moment. The Leafy Meat change is incredible regardless. It still changes Lureplants from egg machines to a must have until a bunny farm is made.

Where did you see the leafy meat + 3 veggies making meatballs? You need to use full value veggies for beefy greens so if you use any kelp, mushrooms, or cactus flowers you get meatballs.

Wtf happened to don’t starve. It went from wilderness survival into fishing simulator. The beta and the none together version was in my opinion the most normal and good thing about ds. But now this? Have a big discord server with your friends and there friends and there family members or friends and your family members and the family members of your friends and well build a new and better hamland city. Where everybody is on a 50+ people server where everyone is doing something else. Where it ain’t a real starve together. More like a gang wars together where everybody has it’s own clan. You don’t need an rpg maker you have don’t starve together. So you have unlimited possibilities from city rp to Vikings vs knights. It’s good in its own way but I just want a standard no no sweet ds experience.
