Amazing how someone can find such a micro error. The time involved in finding these errors is incredible.

This is not micro double you can see it with an 8x loop

How much are they worth? I didn't hear anything about it unless I missed it.
@raizacthediscoverer89492 жыл бұрын
@@markedwards3312 10 bucks or so it's a Minor double die all photos in video are of the same coin just a reminder. go to pcgs and look up a normal coin then you can see the doubling

Thanks for the useful information. Regretfully, Mr. Wexler has now formally retired from coin attribution as well as from the upkeep of his page (others have taken over those duties). He is not accepting any new coins sent in for attribution, but does plan to finish with the significant backlog of coins which have already been submitted. His helpful nature, his wherewithal and his due diligence will be sorely missed by all of us.

I have a new hunt for 1987 P quarter that looks like a smiling eagle not spitting how can i share the picture of the said coin to you, tnx
@TheAMPEDREAPER Жыл бұрын
Funny because I have some doubling on other trees on that quarter. I guess we need to send the submissions to one person so he can claim the error recognition
@TheAMPEDREAPER Жыл бұрын
Look to the top left trees. About the 2nd or 3rd tree in typically has doubling on the right side
@raizacthediscoverer89492 жыл бұрын
So the doubling is of the 3 trees on the one coin I sent Wexler 3 coins one control and 2 of the same double die and have found another one last week of wddr-001
@nutrondon39162 жыл бұрын
i dont mind doubling if i can verify in several places. that doubling didnt show enough proof of such an attribution why isnt it the full length of the area? but just a smidgen of an area. its not doublinf if the tool is polished in to make it look like doubling like the washington ear lobe

@johnbartlett28712 жыл бұрын
I don't see the difference between the "normal" coin and the one with the DDO. ????
@jonhanna40762 жыл бұрын
Yeah, this video doesn't show a same size comparison between a normal coin and the error, but the naration makes it sound as though that is what one is supposed to be seeing at a point where it first shows the error coin and then shows a sightly different zoom of the exact same coin with arrows pointing to where the error is. "The first coin" shown, the normal coin, is the shot of the heads and tails, which is not zoomed in enough to make a decent comparison. So when you are looking at the error coin in the next two images, you are looking at two shots not in the exact same position but of the exact same error coin, one of which has arrows drawn on it. So folks aren't going blind in not being able t see any difference between images that one would naturally think that they were supposed to compare based on the audio that doesn't really match up to what is being shown. You're seeing two shots of the same (minor) error coin, one of which has arrows drawn on it. Not great.

If you want an “ error “ coin just find ANY coin and THERE WILL be some kind of “Non-normal” anomaly in the coin . BUT ,!,!,! The market , amount known , condition & overall desirability is what make an “Error , DD ect.” Have value . But YES , you have an “Error coin” & that’s 99% fact because every now and then the mint produces the intended Design , weight & look of a coin .

I dont mind real doubling but lets draw a line in the dirt as to what a machine produces opposed to an employee that thinks it should look a little different like the corn leaf on a corn stalk ' i say prosecute them for making a coin that they would like to see instead the philly mint created a market for messed up coins with old machines i m guessing
