He does have elements of SRV and does it well and I can really hear him infuse some of his own ideas in there. That’s the way to go!

Late to the party, but I had to say thankyou for being the first person to name this tune correctly. The amount of times I've seen Voodoo 'Child' are too numerous to mention. (And it makes me angry. 🤬). Great version too.

For this version is voodoo child. Chile would be the slow blues

Never mind the SRV stuff... Tommy is the same quality of player in his own right. Top Notch! That bass guy is no slouch either.

A little too relaxed… get whacked out and let it fly bro - tone wise and vocally very good but the wild element is what made Stevie’s sound… you could hear he put every ounce of blood sweat and tears in to each note

Stop encouraging this clown. This was disrespectful to Stevie and Jimi. I have a feeling that most of you commenting never saw him live.

I’ve seen him, Dan. Twice. And Katona is great! We’ll never have Stevie again, but we can enjoy Johnny Katona. He’s not a wannabe. He’s is great. Not a poor substitute. Why can’t you just enjoy him. Must really suck to be you, to not be able to appreciate what he’s offering.

@@barneysales7482 Wannabe boots, wannabe lower lip triangle, wannabe mannerisms, wannabe facial expressions, wannabe guitar, wannabe hat, wannabe guitar playing, wannabe vocals... sorry not even REMOTELY close to Stevie Ray. Couldn't get past a third of the way through. I SAW and HEARD and FELT Stevie Ray in concert many many times, and this dude ain't even a poor imitation. He sort-a plays kind-a like the man, but he has no SOUL in his playing... no FEELING, no EXPRESSION, no EMOTION, no FIRE. Kind of hard, when all he's doing is trying to make a buck copying someone that is WAY out of his league. It's just a bunch of poorly strung together licks he got off "Play Like Stevie Ray" KZbin videos. Oh and, Barney was talking about STEVIE RAY, when he said "most of you commenting never saw the man live". They weren't concerts... they were events. And, you actually paid to see this loser TWICE.
