Agree. I'm not paying a $4 fee to share a meal. I have paid a $1 fee for extra plate before when sharing an entree but even that is ridiculous. Older couples can't aways eat a full plate and shouldn't be charged for splitting a meal. But that food looked great. The entree prices were decent so just go ahead and order each of you a meal and take thevrest home. Hopefully they don't charge for a take home box.

MOST "older folks" 60+ either don't want to eat that much food or cant eat that much food and dont want to bother with taking stuff home. EVERY restaurant should offer FREE plates for folks to share the FULL price meal OR offer a "smaller portion" meal for at leats "senior citizens".

Hi ya guys love Italian food. Taste of Italy rocks!!! Those garlic knots were so big usualy they are so small and hard these ones looked so soft and fluffy. I'm Italian and I surely miss the smell of my moms homemade red gravy cooking on Sunday mornings. Great big portions and both plates looks amazingly delicious 😋. We ate there last month when we were in Gatlinburg. It was sooo good! My son and I both got sandwiches. His was a chicken parm, mine was a philly cheese steak. They also came with fries. Both sandwiches were so big we took half of them back to our hotel and ate them in the park the next day. My husband had a pasta dish that he said was delicious. I would love to go back there and try a pasta dish and a dessert! We also enjoyed the garlic knots.

This restaurant is one reason I love KZbin as it’s been on my list to try since SMF family’s video of it a few years back. It was amazing (I got the chicken parm) and it’s now on my favorites list. The apps look a little expensive to me but the dinner items are roughly what I would expect them to be - not terrible. That is a place I would go if it is good because not too many places have veal dishes - so having all those veal dishes is awesome! Good selection of items! Those garlic knots were huge! I like them a little oilier myself but there is no bread that I can really remember disliking! hehhehe To me, if you can still see the sauce and the spaghetti, there is not a lot of parmesan on there. LOL I say I like cheese with a side of food. I too like softer noodles. I don't really like chewy al dente noodles. I mean, I will eat it of course, but just don't enjoy it as much. This looks like a great place! Nothing better than Italian food. 🙂

I love veal. Brio at Harrahs had the Best Veal Melinese. I enjoyed it for years every time I went over. They took it off the menu 😢.

@@AngelGranni It is very hard to get. I used to get cutlets and cook them myself when they weren't too expensive (and I could find them; looked okay). But very few and far between in restaurants too! There was a place in N Miami Beach, a place in Knoxville. There is a place here in IL but I can never get to them when they are open. They have the oddest hours I have ever seen for lunch and dinner. Impossible! Trying to think of anywhere else I have lived.

My goodness that was a beautiful resteraunt! Authentic paintings of Italy! The red and white decor. Bobbie's shrimp Alfredo was so luscious . Shrimp my absolute favorite!!! John's taste of Italy was so good I know. Everything looked like homeade Italian!!! The spaghetti, chicken parmesan, lasagna, and the manicotti stuffed to the edge!!! Definitely would order Taste of Italy so I could have at least 3 meals with different vegetables plus the salad at home!!! Nice side salads too. But the garlic knots were big!!! I like that. Plus they have wonderful desserts!!!! This is my favorite resteraunt so far in GATLINBURG!

The food looks so very good! I love authentic Italian restaurants! That’s amazing to give those kind of portions! For me, it would be 2 or 3 meals! Yes, great idea to order an extra salad and get an extra plate. Are they one of the restaurants that charge extra for another plate for sharing the entree? I would have got the ranch dressing too Bobbi! Thanks for the review! 👍

" I love authentic Italian restaurants! " is not , or better... is autentic "italian-american" restaurants. Praticamente nulla di quello che vedi lo trovi in italia :) BTW for me ( i'm italian ) italian-american food is too garlicky that doesn't mean it can't be very good of course.

I grew up in Rhode Island we used to have so many Italian restaurants like that back in the day. Many of them were run by the Mafia and used as fronts to launder money, but the food was always good. Sadly, most are gone now after the Feds cracked down on the mob in the 80s and 90s.
