we are local to sevierville. we eat at the chophouse in kodak all the time. it is a 45-minute drive, where the tanger outlet is much closer but we would never go to that one. too many crazy drivers in tanger to take my car in there. that dessert is amazing. too much caramel??? not possible. we get it every time we go. i love the creamed spinach too. while they have crazy expensive entrees for the dinner time, they have very reasonable lunch dishes. my husband gets the 9 filet mignon each time he goes. he likes his medium rare. i love the turkey and dressing plate. it is really good and they have whole berry cranberry sauce with it.

6:57 - Over cooked steak. "Medium" should have a "warm red" center. That steak is "gray" all the way thru and at least Med-Well and I would send it back. (Actually I would have ordered Med-Rare to start with.)

@@henryhill6637 medium-rare is the standard for quality steak houses. I tend to prefer medium but it’s best to order one level below what you actually want if you aren’t familiar with the restaurant. You can always ask to put the steak back on the grill if it’s too rare but once it’s overcooked nothing can be done.

i have to agree with some others here, that the steak was medium well. medium is a warm pink center. so, for a top ranked steak house, im not so sure they know what they are doing. but im glad he liked it. also, sirloin is one of the cheapest toughets cuts of steak. i stick with the tenderloin when possible.

I miss our local Chop House in Chattanooga that shut down a couple of years ago. Come in during dinner and get the the chop house pork chop which is a super thick grilled pork chop and its as good if not better then a steak!!

I'm a steak eater and that steak looked good and Bobbie those apples looked good , when I go to Cracker Barrel I always get their apples , we have never eaten at this restaurant when we go to Tanger Outlet the restaurant is always packed . That place was the darkest lighting we every filmed in. We use a phone to film the videos and sometimes the colors just don’t look right especially in low light. It was a very good lunch though. One of the most popular places in the Pigeon Forge area. Thanks for the comment 😎😎
