For the laughing one, I have a few go-tos. 1) Can you guys give me either the highest pitched, or lowest pitched laugh that you can? You'll usually get a couple seconds of ridiculous faces, but then they hear how silly they sound and give an actual laugh. Works great for wedding party photos too. 2) Okay, gonna count down and give you guys something to do. Ready? 3,2,1 TICKLE FIGHT. In five years, that one has yet to fail me. 3) I would like you to whisper in the brides ear as sensually as you can, which type of cheese you find to be the most arousing. Without fail, always gets a laugh.

My favorite time to get portraits of the bride and groom is actually right after they finish getting ready. Window light portraits are the bees knees, and like... easy mode for getting a good photo.

One of my usual go-tos is actually one that I hijacked from my own wedding photographer because of how much I loved it. (Shout-out to Alisha Light there) She had my wife hold onto the end of her dress and slowly wave it back and forth, while we held hands and gazed off into the distance in opposite directions. We had eloped in Colorado in front of the Flatirons, and the photo of us like that with the mountains behind us was by far my favorite photo.

Very helpful for wedding photographer. Can you review Zeiss Touitt 12mm 2.8
@jbivphotography3 жыл бұрын
ooOOOOoo. I've never actually used a Zeiss. I'm always open to reviews however I really want to be able to use it for real rather than just for a week. So If I ever get my hands on one I'll look into it.
@ibrahimjugger35663 жыл бұрын
@@jbivphotography thanks a lot. I’m confused between that lens and 16mm f2.8, wondering if 16mm is enough for most wedding situations here in Malaysia. Anyway I’m your fans from Malaysia brother

I typically let them know how I shoot different parts of the day, they can shoot with me or I'll ask if they want to step in before a transition. It's always better for everyone if they are willing to work together to make the day great.

Do your focal lengths take crop value into consideration?

No. So my 50mm is more like an 85. Or my 23 is more like a 35mm. I hope that helps.
