Too bad it's built for, almost entirely, companies in USA. With only very few exceptions. Lucky me, I already have a top album printer. Tried and tested, they give the best quality with control for each image and telephone call in case they need a specific information before clearing an image to printing process. After bad experiences, mainly with "big names" in this industry, I'm glad I found them. Right from my first purchase (a personalised album for a 70th birthday, with 100% images shot for this person) I knew they would be my choice. For anyone reading my post in France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, etc. this is Matisseo. Check out their work, they deserve attention. They don't ship outside Europe as far as I know, but they may accept special orders. What is so special about them ? Their small team of 14 is fully devoted to quality and service. Thank you for this presentation John, it's always useful to have a glance at what happens in the distance. And an extra dose of knowledge never hurts ! 😉

Hi from Greece! When you send the album to your clients for proofing, if they want to replace some photos with others from the wedding, how you do it? You send them all the final edited photos from the wedding in low quality ?

Hello John, isn’t possible to do proofing via the cloudproofing directly with a client access ? And with pictime they can see the album design also ?

Correct. Smartalbums has their own cloud proofing as well. Currently I just use Pic-Time and like the process. But honestly the Smart Albums cloud proofing is a little better.

Hi John, I'm in South Africa Cape Town. I'm not sure if our printing companies are listed with them. If not can I add them to the software? I also use Pic time now and hands down it's the best, my couples is loving how professional their images look and even got referrals from my wedding couples as their friends want the same gallery

They do. However I’m thinking about switching over to the SmartAlbums digital proofing system. Sometimes the comments don’t come over as smoothly as I’d like with on Pic-Time and I’m not sure if I’m using incorrectly or not.

For me time is more important than cost. I make whole albums in 5 minutes without doing anything. Where as Lightroom takes more time. So it is correct it can be done in Lightroom but how valuable is your time?

Great video! I am in the process of changing my gallery delivery system and I came across this and your other video about Pic-Time blogs (kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5-tiIiQa7t1Y8ksi=eGaNu8173k90Hnj3). I found Pixellu also has Galleries and was wondering why you are using Pic-Time and Pixellu at the same time instead of using Pixellu all apps bundle. Thank you!
