JBL boombox 2 Max volume

What impresses me about JBL boombox's is how clean they sound. It doesn't matter if you score the BB1 or the BB2, they are impressive. I have the BB1, and it only puts out 60w on battery and 80w when plugged in, but those are RMS numbers, not peak. For those that do not know what RMS is, its the continuous power of amplification output (root means square)

Max volume doesn't mean more dB SPL. It doesn't mean better frequency response. Just hunt on Google, what's the frequency response at certain level of volume on this speaker. You will get better idea. Frequency response changes as you increase or decrease volume. You can notice that with your ears too. Eg: pb1000 will hit 30hz lows at 75% volume, at max vol.. it will hit 50hz lows..

Для комнаты нужно брать 2 нормальных полочника с вуфером минимум 6.5''. Все эти 2.1 системы -- днище. Для рабочего стола - любые мониторы с 1'' твиттером и 5'' вуфером - будет с головой. Ну а для крупных комнат уже есть смысл в напольных системах, и в большинстве случаев саб не нужен будет.

@@goldnick1671 любой саб из систем 2.1/5.1/7.1 стоимостью до 300-400$ - откровенный хлам(объективно). Если и брать - то отдельно к полноценной системе 2.0(и то чисто для расширения полноценного НЧ-диапазона с условных 50гц до 25-30гц). Даже простые компактные студийные 8" Сабы за 200$ по типу ERIS SUB/Mackie вполне способны навалить приятных уху басов в средней комнате без пердежа и нереального гудения, как в случае с разными сабами от z906 итд. МОЁ ИМХО. P.S. Сам юзал саб до момента перехода на нормальные 8" мониторы, тянущие низа с 43гц. Более чем доволен, но если буду переезжать в комнату побольше - таки понадобится басс-помощь и придется докупить 12+ дюймовую бахалку)

I have a question.. if you push your left passive radiator, the other side comes out and then comes back slowly? or it remains still? mine if I push the passive radiator, the other side comes out and then comes back slowly even if I'm still pushing the other side. differently the jbl xtreme if I push one side, the other side goes out but it remains still till I leave my hand from pushing the passive radiator. So it is normal for the JBL Boombox 2 to have an air leak?

I don't think it's an air leak, it's more like the woofers are soft on Boombox 2 and firm on the Xtreme. You shouldn't push on your PRs anyway
