Great review. I've been brand loyal to Skullcandy, for quite some time, when it comes to headphones, both wired, and bluetooth. I've owned JBL b/t speakers that sounded great, but I'd buy the Kilo, now, and yes, two, for stereo mode!

The XB100 is frustrating...sounds awesome but volume is a real bummer, shower even drowns it out and adding a second didn't help much...just returned the pair for Micro 2s - well worth it. Really wanted to keep them, will revisit if improved, soooo close to perfect.

The XB series has always had volume issues or the lack there of… With that said I still prefer the XB100 aesthetically over the other 2. Also, the Kilo makes the Ounce redundant. Why it exists it beyond me I’m slightly surprised the Kilo beat out the Clip 4. But then you did say the Kilo has less bass and my issue with the Clip 4 is it’s lack of bass. So in this situation how could a speaker that has less bass than the Clip 4 sound better. Unless of course you’re giving a lot of weight towards volume

I have two of the SKULLCANDY KILO in the blue color and 3 of the JBL CLIP4 in the red, blue and camouflage. I love the KILO'S and the CLIP4'S but the SKULLCANDY KILO IS a better speaker.

The kilo is sounds so open, the XB100 sounds muffled but i think the clip 4 is the winner because u still want bass

Honestly jbl and kilo is artificial voice and boosting too much treble which makes sound unrealistic and uncomfortable and bass, lower mids are gone.
