I will say adding that tweeter really brought the speaker to life. I have a flip 5 and its sounds good don't get me wrong but I love the way it sounds with the added tweeter. Now we wait for sony to do the same thing for there XB line of speakers lol.

So glad you're talking in the newer videos. I always figured that people who didn't talk in videos like these didn't speak English. The coolest thing I ever saw, was when you hooked up the Charge 5 to your Warfendale tower speaker. I am still amazed by what it could do! Keep on talking. Ha! Ha!

Thumbs up just for the decent music there reminded me of my old clubbing day's lol pack the body with wool the way old speakers were for getting more bass out them than speakers sitting in a hollow shell!

Yeah! JBL is mostly too expensive for what you get sadly, wool costs around £4 for a kilo, wish they'd just get their act together and make a decent speaker for a decent price

Glad i found this Video😂 i bought a used JBL Flip 6 abd tourns out the tweeter is damaged, at least i hope so, i already ordered a new tweeter on ebay and this Video helped me a lot to understand how to disassemble the musicbox, Thanks👍

My buddy’s JBL flip 6 is a month old, I need to test the battery (won’t turn on won’t charge) tried resetting, factory reset but requires device power ON. And tried using different charging cords and adapters. I’m at a loss. Everyone at my work has gone threw so many problems with JBL

Bought one with that problem. For me it was shorted capacitor on board. Ez fix if you know what you are doing. Cheap if you give it to someone who knows what he is doing

@@yellouu_theree yeah we work in the kitchen the things been dropped and got wet a few times, he ended up buying a better JBL that’s louder and it’s lasted over 10 months now and still going.

good video but I WAS SO TRIGGERED IN THE BEGINNING YOU TAKE THE ENDS OF BEFORE THE SHELL OTHERWISE YOU RISK SNAPPING THE SHELL DUE TO CLIPS IN THE ENDS

tweeters generally play from 2000 hz -20000 hz.. smaller cheaper tweets like this one is probably crossed over around 4000 hz..

great teardown SHak.. My one piece of wisdom to add to your wonderful sound play around. JBL is the best!! If you plan to open shell case to housing. and reclose dont break crease overbend fracture woven mesh shell as flip is truly distortion free speaker sys. incased in a fractured sherelll. even after epoxy surgery . fully closed locked tight itll reverb almost like a blown speaker. fear not crack case slitlye frees sound to pash trho else wear. stoner out. 2 cents.

I bought un opened packed from my friend and it even work. No Power. You cannot reloaded even. I think it was some monday day production. My friend give it to me present so ofcourse there was no where he waas bought it and how much he pay it. But i know it was over 100euros. I don't know what to do know because it was unopened pack. There is warranty card in side but i think i have to call them today .

Flip6 просто убил 5ку звуком и эргоноикой . Короче Flip5 был прходной. Flip3 и Flip4 думаю выжили как класика отчета качества звука и компановки.
