Finally 😭 someone who has the same speaker as me 😭 so my sister connected everything like to wifi and bla bla bla so it use to work then it just cut out, out of nowhere and she ain't here rn 😅 and I've been trying to figure out what was wrong, and it disconnected from the wifi, but I didn't know how to reconnect it 😅 but Thank you so much this helped heaps 💙🙏🏾

The process works a bit differently for each device, but the basic steps are to touch and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker, then make sure your bluetooth is on on your device, then go into your bluetooth settings on your device and find the name of your speaker, then connect. Hope that helps a bit.

I'm considering buying this speaker as a replacement/companion speaker to my Google Home Mini. What I'm confused about is do I need to keep my Google Home Mini for setup, or is that what the Google Home app calls the speaker?

Hey, hoping I can help answer your question. The short answer is, no, you do not need to keep your Google home mini. The entire set up process for a new speaker can be done through your phone using the Google home application. You will connect to the speaker you want to set up via Bluetooth and then the Google app walks you through the process. Hope that helps.

I agree. Mine would say "there was a glitch. Try again in a few seconds." I called JBL support. They told me to reset it, which made it not even respond to voice anymore. It will do nothing but the welcome lecture it does when new. They ran me around until close to their 11pm closing time, put me on hold, and hung up on me. Google wasn't much help, as they blame it on JBL.

just got one of these on clearance at a closing Office Depot. This thing fucking SUCKS. I just wanted a simple bluetooth speaker. Nope. Gotta download the google home app to set it up. Need wifi and everything to use it, too. After you get it set up, the sound SUCKS. No bass. Nothing compared to a regular JBL bt speaker. Taking this shit back TODAY.

Yes. You can connect to the speaker directly without using Google through Bluetooth or a direct 1/8th inch cable if your speaker has that input.

There is a power button on the back. Push and hold it for 5 seconds and the speaker should power down. Let us know if that works for you.

You can actually connect to the speaker using the bluetooth function. There is a bluetooth button on top of the speaker. Just make sure your phone is also bluetooth enabled.
