JBL Link10 - Easy Battery Replacement

Your JBL LINK10 is dead? No worries! Let's just swap the battery for a new one. This is an easy repair. Follow along in my video.

Thank you so much, great instructions, worked perfectly, saved me a bunch of trouble. £20 for a new battery & 20 mins to change it vs £70-£100 for a new speaker. My old battery was slighty swolen, so i'm glad it's gone & another electroinc gadget saved from landfill.

I've just done this on my Link 10. The ribbon cable is now glued in place so can't be removed and the battery fit is much tighter so hard to pull out. Thanks for the great tutorial, I'd still be guessing which rubber cover to pull off.😕

Thanks for the claer video. I replaced the battery, but still takes no power: I charged 10h, continue 250 mA. Any suggestions what to do now?

if the battery is ok this leaves you with bad charge cable or bad charge port. There is a guy that sells charge ports on ebay

would not some heat on the top help soften your rubbercement glue

In case you were to destroy that glue. It is 3M double sided tape that you can get in sheets on Amazon.
