I pick Persona Fi + EQ over LDAC + EQ. Persona Fi changes the frequencies independently between right and left channel. It also changes frequencies like 6 kHz, which you cant control inside EQ settings without also touching 4 and 8 kHz.

I just picked these up and the Bose QC to compare. I totally agree with your assessment meant here. The fit is amazing, they melt into your ears and you forget they’re there. Sound quality if great for music. But yea ANC is non existent. Also, think they kinda goofed on the battery life rating. They claim 8hrs but I got like 6hrs.

@@ronontech side note. In one of his comparison videos he said he thinks the buds sound better than the beams. I noticed this as well and realized it’s because the buds have a much higher sensitivity rating then the beam so they’re slightly more dynamic with better bass response.

These are not 99.99$ on the JBL website. And they are the brother of the Beam 3 i think they might perform a little better because they fit deeper in the ear than the Beam does. Thanks for the review Ron. 💯🔥🇺🇸

I have the JBL live Beam 3 and my favorite feature is the Private call with one ear bud out and using it as a microphone. My calls come out really clear even when whispering. Can you do a test on that? Oh and does This version(Buds) have the private call feature too?

Volume does work once you configure the earbuds to use those settings. Sorry for not demonstrating.

Make sure you do this anc personalization stuff in an very loud environment. My live pro 2’s anc was garbage until I repeated the personalization with my tv on max volume, they somehow tuned for that loud environment and since then they are in my top 5 in anc strength.
