I just purchased this speaker (partybox 310) and I have yet to actually crank/Jam it out but man oh man the clarity of sound out of this (semi)portable speaker is truly amazing so far! I really glad I got this over the 100 or 300 as I can tell you having the wheels and handle really helps out with moving it around as opposed to having to carry it as it weighs about 40 pounds! I almost bought the Billboard Dual 8” party speaker (actually I did purchase it from BJ’s prior to thinking further about it and returning it to BJ’s Wholesale Club). And really really glad I returned the Billboard speaker and got the Partybox 310!!! So far as I said the sound quality is amazing and so glad I did not compromise due to price as I know down the road I would have regretted it for sure! Being that this is. a JBL speaker 🔊 and being IPX4 water resistant (rains allot in Florida plus splashing around the swimming pool) is a huge huge plus!!!Very Happy day one!!! Thank you so much for all your videos you aided me greatly in narrowing down which speaker to buy..... much gratitude 🙏!!!!

Great reveiw!! I looked it up and it is in fact Ipx4. Ipx4 is splashes from any direction so I'm assuming it would be fine if a little got in the bass port. For the same price I would rather have this over the Boombox 2, because I rarely actually submerge my speakers.

The bass port shape is going upward inside the cabinet so it s a reason why water cannot be inside in case of rain or water projections . It s why jbl recommand only to put vertically the speaker in case of rain in order to let water come out of the «vertical shape » port due to gravity

I bought the 310 and have had it a couple of days now. This is my first bluetooth speaker and I love it! Great midbass and clear highs and mids. I'll probably get a second eventually so I can run them in stereo. Even though I have one, I still wanted to check out your review because I like your videos. Keep up the good work!

I have 2 of the 310's and they sound great in stereo I took them to a Halloween party and had the cops called because of the volume. What I like about it is using the guitar function so I can play without an amp although you need a pre amp to play guitar through it. I use my Boss JS-10 trainer for a preamp and effects, The only draw back is when using the microphone you can't use both of them at the same time it's only going to come out of the speaker the Mic. is plugged into, I run a vocal transformer through mine and I thought I could get them both to play through that but nope you have to run an aux. cable between the speaker's for both to play the vocal's at the same time with one mic. The sound is amazing and my neighbors can't stand me when I decide to practice my guitar in the middle of the night. LOL It's over all a great system for portable use and if you are using half vol and no Bass boost you can get around 17 hrs of battery life, I've never gotten 18 hrs out of a charge.

@@crownedmedia7936 Nope. JBL Partybox 300 and 310 battery mode 120 watts. 300 and 310 AC power 240 watts. JBL Partybox 310 has a bigger port, that is why it sounds bigger.

Did I miss something? What were your first impressions after listening to it? It sounded pretty good to me - very clear. Of course smaller than the 710 and 1000, but it its own class the 310 looks to be pretty good.

i bought a jbl flip essential /stealth edition.the degrade version of flip3 without the mic ,connect,etc but other spec are same . the problem is mine one is 3000mah like others but it only takes about 2hours to charge from 0-100 is it common cause the jbl claims 3.5 hours to charge and iam charging it via usb 3.1 type A from laptop. also the discharging in full volume blast is only lastabout upto 3 to 3.5 hours . also once i turn the dsp off by pressing - + simoultaneosly for 12 seconds and the passive radiator go crazy like it broke soud come so i immediately power off it and restarted and i reseted it by pressing play and + button does it turned the dsp back on ?

Hi bro , I recently purchased a JBL Partybox 310 a week ago and have noticed that there is a static/hissing sound when there no music playing. I can also hear it when playing low volume music. The static sound comes from the top of the speaker but not the bottom. Anyone know if this is normal or is it defective? Thanks!

I love the JBL Party box 310 I bought one Last year in August 2021 last year I had one Listen to it and I fell in love with it straight away but I already paid for the TIMAX 40 Bluetooth speaker but I had to wait for two mouths before i get it because it hasn't arrived at the time but Noul Learning in whangarei told me about this JBL PARTY BOX 310 and once I Bluetooth my phone to it played one song from my play List (Papa was a rolling stone Kevin Karlson remix) i was hooked the Dj Mix I played from my play List some people in the shop at the time was allso hooked I couldn't walk out the shop without it I allso turned it on outside while I was waiting for my uncle to take it home for me because I had my Mountain bike outside the shop at the time but soon as I got home I showed my Aunty Laura what I got but at the end I gave it to them as a Early Christmas present because I all ready had my potable SRSXB43 BLUETOOTH SPEAKER in my bag and I couldn't walk around town with that but clearly this jbl party box 310 is the best

Good afternoon. Can you speak to playing music via USB? The format (NTFS, FAT32, exFAT), maximum USB drive (flash/jump drive) supported 64G, 256G, etc? Maximum number of folders it will access/play music from? I know they do not shuffle but hopefully that is a feature that is coming soon. Thanks!
